We have been about Volcano's with Mrs Costello during in our Wednesday science sessions. This week she explained to us what the inside of the earth is like and where lava comes from.
We made our own edible earths by using an edible silver ball as the solid core of the earth which we squashed into a marshmallow. Next we dipped the marshmallow into chocolate and formed a hard crust just like the earth has.
The best part was when we cracked the chocolate, just like the earths crust does in and earthquake and volcano. Then we got to eat them - yummy !
