The Gekkos come for a visit

We had a treat in Room 4 and Room 5 today when we welcomed some gekkos in for a visit.  We heard all about how they live and what they eat. We then all had a turn at holding them.

SPECIAL VISITORS

Room 4 has some special visitors.  On Monday, whilst we were in assembly a strange house appeared in the Discovery Room.  We fetched Mrs Molloy who suggested our visitors could be Brounies, who live in the north of England, Wales and Scotland.

On Tuesday, we found a letter from the Brounies explaining why they had moved into the Discovery Room and tell us all about themselves.

There was much excitement and the children set to work replying to Morag and Lachlann's letter.

After much discussion, the children decided to use string (and a bit of adult help) to haul all their letters up to the front door of Morag and Lachlann's house.

They are eagerly awaiting a response.

Congratulations

We are so proud of Alex, Florence, Nikita, Ashlyn, Jack and Gary who have all learned to pedal by themselves today.
